True, FOOL FOR LOVE is technically a small-town contemporary romance. And yes, the central story revolves around the hero, Devlin Monroe, and the heroine, Chloe Madison. But one of the surprise thrills of writing this story was getting to know Daisy Monroe. Devlin’s grandmother who also becomes Chloe’s employer.

Daisy is one of the senior members of the Cupcake Lovers and a respected member of the community. In the past, she’d been a bit subdued—conservative even. But since the death of her husband and a bit of a health scare of her own, at seventy-plus-years-old, she’s decided to live full out in every aspect imaginable. Her eccentric new wardrobe raises a few brows, but it’s her reckless adventures that curl the hair of her relatives. Here’s a peek at her bucket, I mean “derring-do” list!
