The Sunday Post #5

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This meme was inspired in part by In My Mailbox. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

If possible this week has been worse than last week was. In addition to the congestive heart failure it appears that Tara has some sort of sarcoma in her spleen. Surgery is the best option, but chances are her heart couldn't take it. And I don't want to put her through chemo. So this week I plan to get her in to a holistic vet with the hopes something can be done to slow the spread of the cancer, build up her immune system and keep her feeling well for as long as possible.

In times like these I turn to my books for comfort.
