The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.So...my blog makeover is complete. What do you think??? I love it so much I just keep staring at it LOL!!! It is *so* me :) When I received a preview in my email at midnight Thursday night I had tears in my eyes and was so excited I could barely sleep. If you're thinking about having any work done on your blog, I can't recommend Glogirly Design highly enough. I'd be honored if you'd grab my button while you're here!
This past a week a stupid head cold really knocked me for a loop, but a blogger's work is never done! If you didn't get a chance yet, there's still time to win ebook copies of Penelope by Anya Wylde and The Cat's Meow by Stacey Kennedy. This week I'll be welcoming Amber Polo with an interview during her Retrieved blog tour, a special Valentine's Day edition of Cat Thursday, and I'll be telling you about a fundraiser that's close to my heart.
Hope everyone got through Winter Storm Nemo unscathed...we only got 9 inches here in northern Vermont.

Thanks Deb!
DeleteI do love your new look! Very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Aurian!
DeleteI love the book covers; especially Eternally 21, Waiting for Dead men's shoes, Murder, Money and Marzipan...love cute covers like these! Will be checking the synopsis for these.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the Nancy Drew Diaries? I used to read Nancy Drew when I was a kid and have started re-reading Nancy Drew series.
Sunday Post
A brand new series. So glad the adventures of Nancy are continuing!

ReplyDeleteMelissa I forgot to tell you I LOVE your blog design! I didn't see your first design but I love this one but my fave color is pink so maybe I'm a bit bias LOL did you design this yourself?
ReplyDeleteMelissa how do you do the threaded comments? I'd like to get a reply for each comment but I don't know how to change it :(
Thanks Angelica...just click on reply under the specific comment you are replying to.
DeleteOh, and Glogirly Designs did my blog design :)
DeleteAwesome books for you this week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
DeleteI like your new look. You got a nice selection of books.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dru :)
DeleteOh my gosh!! I love your site!!!!! I love your pink! I kind of thought I was over pink but I really love yours! I could visit all day :D And I really like your "cause" - I have a friend who went into law solely for her love of animals. Turned out her dream job at PETA or Humane Society didn't work out but you should see how many dogs she fits in her house!
ReplyDeleteAnd I so recognize the Vermont love of Dunkin Donuts - I used to live in Maine (hubs is Border Patrol) and I prefer DD to Hortons) No DD in Michigan, though *sigh*
Oh, and great books this week...
Hi Kristin...I wish I could devote my life to rescuing animals. Maybe one day...
DeleteStopping at Dunkin Donuts this afternoon for a dark chocolate mocha :)
Sweet haul and it sounds like everyone loves your blog. Another lovely haul, I have a feeling your tbr pile looks like mine *eyes swaying towers* The Sunday Post
ReplyDeleteMy pile is truly frightening...but it makes me happy :)
DeleteThanks again for the button help and the mention in your Post today!!
Melanie, I can't compare the old and new blog designs since I've only just started following your blog, but I like the new design! Nice haul of new books this week -- that's what prompted me to follow your blog, since I like cozy mysteries. My TBR pile is pretty tall, too, so I was actually relieved not to get many new books this week!
ReplyDeleteI review primarily cozies, so stop by often!
DeleteLove the makeover... Nice haul too. Hope you enjoy them.

DeleteOoh lots of lovelies there, great haul! :-) And I LOVE your banner and design. So cute and slightly kooky.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, and have a great week! :-)
Thanks Victoria, you have a great week too!
DeleteYou get the best books and are so bad for my TBR pile. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bea, I take that as a compliment :)
DeleteI'm writing up a post on where I find my freebies, as I've been asked several times, and I mentioned this blog, with a link. :) It'll be up tonight or tomorrow.
DeleteThanks so much Bea!!!
