My Review: I've recently become fascinated by natural remedies so I found this book to be extremely interesting...I loved all the tips that introduced each new chapter and learned a lot of new information that I intend to try out for myself!

I haven't had a chance to read the first book in this series, but that didn't deter me at all from becoming involved in Willow's life. I adore her menagerie of pets, from terrier Qigong to cats Ginger and Ginkgo. I must confess I've developed quite a mad crush on Willow's boyfriend, hunky ex-cop Jackson. There is nothing sexier than a strong man who loves and rescues animals, and I hope to spend more time with him (only via the pages of a book, unfortunately!) and his precious rescued doxies at their new animal sanctuary.

I enjoyed the premise of this mystery as well, with the murder taking place at an old manor house during the filming of a paranormal tv show. I'm a huge fan of shows such as The Dead Files and Ghost Adventures and love my cozies with a paranormal twist. The list of possible suspects was endless and I was truly stumped until the very end. The historical aspect drew me in as well, as the book featured a secondary murder mystery going back to 1933 and rum-running off the coast of Long Island.

I definitely intend to go back and read Death Drops, the first book in the series, and will anxiously be awaing subsequent books in the Natural Remedies Mystery series.
