The Dog Days of Summer
The nice folks at The Uncommon Dog asked me to share the following infographic about dog safety in the summer and I'm more than happy to do so. Here in northern Vermont we're in the midst of a horrendous heatwave, and our beloved pets suffer the ill effects of the heat even more than we do. Please learn the warning signs of an overheating dog...and how to act fast to prevent serious illness and death. And NEVER leave your pet in the car, even for a quick errand...if you can't take them into every air conditioned building you go in, LEAVE THEM HOME!!!
