Infographic: 8 Tips to Keep Your Pet Safe & Stress Free this Halloween

Hey everybody, it's Truffles! I asked Mommy to write a blog post about Halloween pet safety because as the holiday gets closer I'm starting to get a little nervous. Mommy says there's nothing to worry about because I will always be an indoor kitty and am perfectly safe, but she has redecorated the house with all kinds of thingies that make strange noises and is having way too much fun putting costumes on me and it's just getting....weird.

Anyways, the nice people at The Uncommon Dog must have been reading our minds because they sent us a cool infographic featuring 8 tips to keep pets safe on Halloween. It's tailored specifically to dogs, but it certainly pertains to us kitties too. One thing that is missing is please, please, please give extra special attention to the black and mostly black kitties in your life...mean people out there believe the silly myths about us and think it's fun to do mean, horrible things. Keep us safe and keep us inside!!!

What are you and your pets doing to get ready for Halloween?

Mine are indoor kitties too but; I still have to watch as I have one that always finds something he shouldn't. Mine get stressed out with all the outdoor noise at Halloween too. When we hand out candy the kitties stay with my son in his room as I don't want to have to worry about them getting out the door. They are some wonderful tips which you even use for kitties. Thank you.

all valid points! I didn't think about the pumpkins. But I don't use candles in mine. I just get inside and stick my paw out at passersby.

I love this infographic, it really has some great tips. They certainly go for cats as well as dogs. We have a black cat and we will keep her inside where it's safe! We live in such a quiet rural area we don't have to worry about trick or treaters coming or going, which makes it so much easier.....because Miss Samantha does like to escape outdoors sometimes, even though she's an indoor kitty!

This is a really considerable option. You can also use the CBD pet tincture to relieve them from uneasiness and stress. You can get CBD certified product from pure organix at an affordable rate.
