But everything is easier when a cat is keeping you company, right?
That's exactly what happened the other day when I pulled out all the colorful paper and tags and settled in for an afternoon of wrapping, and Truffles settled into her bed to supervise. Tara never showed any interest in the process, but Truffles was utterly fascinated by it. She loves crinkly papers so I think she had fun with all the noises I was making.
It was the most enjoyable time I've had wrapping gifts in a very long time simply because she was there with me. I am so incredibly thankful for that little girl.

My human made a whole bunch of cloth bags years and years ago which are not nearly as much fun than helping with wrapping paper. She is no fun at all...
That's one of our favorite things to do at Christmas time...though for some reason, the mom doesn't always appreciate our help.
I am a lousy wrapper. Licorice wanted to help me wrap this year. Sigh. Some presents have holes in the wrap.

I feel your pain. I hate wrapping presents, too. I always get a sore back no matter where I sit to do it. Kitties really do love to help though, don't they? We call our cat "the inspector" when we are doing things. She's checking for quality control I think. :)
She was good. She didn't steal the paper or anything. Sweet Truffles.
Very cute! At least she didn't jump all over the paper. When I was wrapping, Arya kept jumping on the paper and ripping it. She's still such a kitten at heart.
