I have to admit, this is pretty exciting. You kind of have to get excited at the thoughts of possibly watching history being made. It's been 36 years since a horse pulled this off! Mommy says she will be satisfied to see it happen just once in her lifetime (the last time it happened she was only 9 months old, so that doesn't count.)
We've been monitoring all the news coverage of Chrome this week and discovered he has an important cat in his life right now too! Click here to read about Madamoiselle.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend, and root for Chrome for us!!!
Check out more artsy kitties here.
How exciting!!!
ReplyDeleteWe've got our paws crossed for California Chrome!
: )
Hey! That's Mommy's browser, too!
ReplyDeleteGO CHROME!
California Chrome lives about 50 miles from me, but I've never seen him. We see him on the news when he wins another race. It's pretty exciting having a 'local hero.' I understand that horses often have a 'pet,' so not surprising that he has a cat. Good luck CC.
ReplyDeleteAll our paws are crossed - go Chrome!
ReplyDeleteWe're hopin California Chrome wins too!
ReplyDeleteWe're rooting for Chrome too!
ReplyDeleteIt would be exciting and then maybe the poor horse will get to rest!

Have you looked at Chrome's pedigree and who's in the past? http://www.pedigreequery.com/california+chrome MmmHmmm. The first time I saw him, I told hubs Chrome's coat reminded me of another "Big Red" that was a winner.
ReplyDeleteCalifornia Chrome is a beautiful horse, hope he wins.
ReplyDeleteWe live in WI and are rooting for Chrome too. He's an amazing and beautiful horse. He deserve to win.
ReplyDeleteTruffles hope CC wins today!

ReplyDeleteThat is a sweet picture of you and Chrome, Truffles. Happy Caturday!
ReplyDeleteSo you're horse racing enthusiasts. :Cute photo with the horse and cat sharing the frame. :)
ReplyDeleteWe were really hoping that Chrome would win. The last Triple Crown winner was in 1978? We kittes weren't even born then! Our Mom is REALLY old and remembers it!
