When we were offered the chance to try Hip & Joint for Cats by Pet Naturals of Vermont, my first question was if the treats would be beneficial to Truffles at only 3 years old. The answer was yes, hip & joint support can never come too early, so Truffles instructed me to request a sample pronto! After all, she has absolutely adored everything she has tried from Pet Naturals, and what could be better than an all-natural supplement disguised as a yummy treat! These chews are chicken liver flavored, adorably fish-shaped, and get 4 paws up from my fur baby! They are the perfect addition to her daily treat repertoire.
Here is some more information about the chews:
Hip & Joint is an advanced joint support formula for cats at any stage of life. It's comprehensive formula supports the hips, joints and connective tissue function in cats.
Hip & Joint is packed with glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin sulfates to support joint structure of a healthy pet or help with flexibility and comfort in an older pet. Help fight wear and tear and support your cat’s joints with Hip & Joint.
Hip & Joint is recommended for:
* Pets with advanced need of joint support
* Geriatric, retired, working or sporting breeds
* Pets predisposed to joint and connective tissue stress
Pet Naturals Hip and Joint treats for cats contain high-quality all natural ingredients, which include:

* Chondroitin Sulfate: Chondroitin is another natural substance that further benefits your cat's joint health when it is combined with glucosamine.
* N,N-Dimethylglycine HCl (DMG): DMG is an intermediary metabolite that increases the use of oxygen in the body's tissues.

ReplyDeleteSecond try!!
ReplyDeleteIt is encouraging to see palatable treats that tackle joint issues - there are a lot of large tablet formulations around that no self-respecting pet parent would try to pop down a cat's throat! These loom so much friendlier!
I think my kitties would love these! Always looking for something good and tasty to supplement their diets.
ReplyDeleteWe tried these some time back, and they're such a good idea. Supplements in treat form are so much easier to administer than pills.
ReplyDeleteWe have some of these...but we haven't tried them yet. Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Melissa! It's never too early to start supporting your kitty's joints :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post, I won a bag! My Egg Nog who is 14 will enjoy these supplements.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteINTERESTING. We didn't think to say yes to trying them for the very same reason: we're all so young. But we're glad YOU asked. We never knew it could help us young'uns too!
ReplyDeleteThat is an excellent suggestion.
ReplyDeleteTW always thinks I have join pain cos it takes me so long to get comfy on the bed at night and I grunt every time I change positions in bed. Thanks for the honest review.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great supplement! Kitties need to have good working hips and joints so that they can run, jump, pounce, and play. I might just have to hop on by and check out the website. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a smart idea to include these types of supplements early in life too...before they have joint and hip problems!
ReplyDeletePet Naturals also has calming chews for dogs and cats as well, I use them for my dog because we adopted him and he has bad anxiety sometimes. They help calm him a little bit, I recommend using them!
