Caturday Art: Angel in the Clouds

This we're combining Athena's Caturday Art blog hop with the Saturday PhotoHunt theme of "clouds". When I look up to the clouds I imagine my angel Tara watching over me from the Rainbow Bridge. This quote by Charles Dickens, cat lover and author of my all-time favorite story A Christmas Carol, perfectly captures the emptiness that one perfect little feline leaves behind.

The art is exquisite and the quote purrfect. Mom says that she would print this and put it in a frame next to the bed if it were her. It makes such a great keepsake. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

I like that Tara is in the clouds. I’m sorry I don’t understand how humans can still feel so strongly about the cat that’s no longer here. TW still cries and cries over her Nicky. Bah.

Beautiful - and so very true.

(thanks for not giving up on us. Our mom's got 14 shows that must be finished by 8/29 and she's kinda panicking - and working late - and not feeding us - and NOT playing WAND toy! But we digress...)

This is so true, we never forget these wonderful little creatures who give us so much joy. Their lives are all too short...I wish they could live as long as we do....
