She has a large ball collection but the latest one she gets is always the greatest. At Christmas in her wonderful Secret Paws gifts she received a package of three balls with sparkles on them. A few mornings later I woke up to find one of them outside my bedroom door, apparently a hint that I should have gotten up in the middle of the night to play. That same night at midnight while I was getting ready for bed she wanted to play, so I stayed up awhile longer with her. It totally over-stimulated her because I don't think she slept 5 minutes all night (I didn't do much better). She was up and down off the bed all night long.
The next night at midnight she started whacking it around again, so before she got too hyper I distracted her with some treats and tucked it under her kitty lounger with her other toys. (Like most women she stashes stuff under the bed.) She finished her treats and watched me finish getting ready for bed. All of a sudden she glanced under the lounger, spotted the ball, and the race was on again!!! After she played for awhile luckily she settled down for the night this time. It's still her "go to" ball each and every day.
I thought the picture would be really cute as a cartoon, so for our Caturday Art entry we applied the Cartoonizer effect in Be Funky.
What a truly joyful photo!!! We love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd your Caturday Art treatment to it is super cool!
: )
Great picture of Truffles! And love the cartoonizer affect! Linda
ReplyDeleteHow rude of your mom to try to hide your toy from you only because she wanted to sleep. You look very joyful.
ReplyDeleteyour cat is lucky. She is enjoying herself by playing with her devoted human.
ReplyDeleteTruffles makes us joyful, too!
ReplyDeleteAwww, she is so cute playing with her ball. I used to like balls too, and M and I had great fun. Now I won't even touch a ball, and if M tries to toss one for me to chase, I just sit and look at her.
ReplyDeleteAwww! So sweet! We have baskets full of toys at our house, but the simple balls with sparkles are our favorites! Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey kitties!
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice and joyful picture ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWhat joyful whiskers she has and we love the artistic way you transformed the photo. Truffles looks so adorable.

The "funky" photo is BEYOND cool! Love it! She is like my Angel Bobo who LOVED playing with balls! Cody is more of a "Mouse" man lol
ReplyDeleteShe looks so happy!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice! Nothing is more joyful than a happy cat. The cartoon version is nice too.
ReplyDeletePurrfectly joyful! I can totally identify! ~Allie
ReplyDeleteYep she sure looks happy :)
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Very joyful photo for Caturday Art. :)
ReplyDeleteYou’re right. It does look great as a cartoon.
ReplyDeleteThat chin! I just want to kiss it :)
ReplyDeleteNeat!! I wish I could learn how to do artistic stuff!! Your kitty looks a little bit like our Cali. :)
ReplyDeleteAmelia's very favorite toys are also her balls though she is enjoying her little mice more and more. I love the successful hunt howl Amelia blurts out when she "captures" a ball and brings it to me. Joyful indeed!
ReplyDeleteVery cool effect!
ReplyDeleteHehe Truffles that does sound like fun! And I really like the Caturday art photo. It came out really nice!
ReplyDeleteIt is a fantastic picture both ways :) I can see why you love it :)
ReplyDeleteYou know a girl is really joyous when she tosses her head back. I'm pretty sure she's giggling. :-)
