Our dear friend Kevin of Animal Shelter Volunteer Life made us deliriously happy last week when he announced that a wonderful PAWS volunteer has made the decision to become Truffle's permanent foster dad. She is still available for adoption, but if that never happens, she has a forever home with her foster family.
Over the holidays Kevin sent us a bunch of pictures of Truffle and Cinnamon, so in honor of this happy event in Truffle's life, we decided to post some Truffle selfies.
She is such a beautiful girl that if she were a little closer, even though it might be a bit complicated, I would have to learn how to live in a home with two Truffles!!!
That's pawesome for Truffles!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Truffles! Wow what a sweet sweet cat. You can tell from the way she is relaxing she is very happy with you but really, two Truffles i s a lot. She looks like my kitty Paprika with those cinnamon markings and stripes.
ReplyDeleteWhat incredibly precious photos of an oh so SWEET girl. It makes our hearts so happy to know that in lieu of a forever home she has a permanent foster home for now. We so wish our Swizzle, who we continue to sponsor, would find a home as well. Though Kevin and Tracey visit her every week and give her lots of love from us, we know she deserves more. Thanks so much for joining and supporting our blog hop each week. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

That is such wonderful news! Truffle is such a beautiful kitty!! It makes me sad how many wonderfully special kitties don't have forever homes yet. But I'm so happy that Truffles will always be loved and have a nice home. :)
ReplyDeleteI keep waiting for my shelter to instill an adult foster program so I can foster miss Mango, but so far, they haven't done it. I will just have to keep bugging them about it. ;)

ReplyDeleteHi Melissa! How did I totally miss this post??? Thank you for sponsoring our sweet pal Truffle, for caring about her so much, and for celebrating her loving permanent foster home with us. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm told by Chris (the volunteer with whom she now lives) that she's doing great. She's so happy to be a housecat again ... enjoying the windows and sunpuddles, sleeping on the bed at night, etc.
Now let's keep our fingers and paws crossed for Miss Cinnamon. :)
Hugs to you and Truffles!
Kevin
