Chewy.com Review: Halo Liv-a-Littles

Hey everybody, it's Truffles!

Mommy said the most horrible thing to me recently. She said that I'm becoming *gasp* a TREAT SNOB!!! Just because I stuck my nose up at the latest treats she picked out for me from Chewy.com.

Don't you think if she would let me do the choosing this wouldn't be an issue???

The treats I'm speaking of are the Halo Liv-a-Littles Grain-Free 100% Chicken Breast Freeze-Dried Dog & Cat Treats. Trust me, the issue is with me, not the treats, because they really are wonderful. 100% pure chicken breast, plain and simple (and that's a good thing!) They're freeze-dried to lock in the flavor and nutritional benefits of protein-rich chicken breast, and suitable for every stage of your pets' lives. They are suitable for both cats and dogs, and are great to serve on their own or crumble over food at mealtime.

So what's my problem? Mommy says she's going to stop picking out freeze-dried treats for me because I never like them. Of all the ones she has tried I've only really loved one of them. My preference is kibble-type treats, not freeze-dried or raw. (I know I'm unusual...every kitty I know loves freeze-dried meats!)

As I've been known to do, I recruited our neighbor kitty Pumpkin to get a second opinion on treats I'm not crazy about. Here's what he had to say:

Hmmm...smells like chicken!

You said Truffles doesn't like these???

That girl is nuts!
Nom nom nom...

There you go...4 paws up from Pumpkin!

Halo Liv-a-Littles are currently priced at $8.99 on Chewy.com and they also come in Wild Salmon and Beef flavors.

We received free treats in exchange for our fair and honest review as part of the Chewy.com Blogger Outreach Program. All opinions are our own.

  1. We LOVE these treats! Truffle will eat almost any treats, but these are Brulee's favorite and they are so easy for her to eat with her little mouth. Brulee would trade you the kibble-size treats for these any day.

  4. Ooh, we LOVE Liv-a-littles. Though we think they should be named Liv-a-lots so we can have more.

  5. Truffles, you aren't the only kitty who won't eat freeze-dried treats....we won't touch them! The Mom tried a couple of different ones, and we wouldn't touch any of thems. The Mom thought we would like them.

Hey, at least your neighbor kitty got a nice little present! :)

  6. Freeze-dried aren't popular at my house, either. It's always good to get a second opinion and Pumpkin is precious, not as precious as you, though, Truffles! :)

  7. We LOVE freeze dried chicken breasts. Mom has a secret you can usually buy the same treats in the dog section and get a LOT more for less money. We don't understand this as it's the same exact thing : 100% chicken breasts but it is true.

  11. Hehe, kitty triumphed ;-) Our pups like freeze-dried treats, but I think it's a good thing that tastes differ amongst our best friends! Would be pretty boring if every pup liked the very same treat. We enjoy variety.
