Caturday Art: Remembering Nissy

Hey everybody, it's Truffles. A sad part of life in the cat blogosphere is that all too often we are forced to say goodbye to our friends. We learned this week that on April 30th our dear friend Nissy of  Nerissa's Life had to go to the Bridge. He was only 12 years old.

It was just a few short weeks ago that I was able to interview Nissy for his part in the Rescued anthology, so this is a loss that hit Mommy and I particularly hard. We admired Nissy so, so much for his tireless dedication to sharing the daily kill lists at NYC's ACC. He and his peep made a difference in the lives of cats every single day. He also loved cozy mysteries like we do, and wrote extremely entertaining "book reports". (Our favorite can be found here.)

Nissy's family is asking that any donations in his memory be made to TeamTNR, a wonderful rescue helping Nova Scotian kitties in need.
