My dog and I have participated in Bark for Life, Pet Days at the Bank, Wine, Cheese and Canines, and there is Tails for Trails, Hiking with Fido, and the Pet Expo. Artie and I are always on the "go" and we try to do as many pet events as possible.
We're plannin on lotsa time in da sun puddles!
My dog likes to go for rides to the beach, down the road to visit the cows and to Dairy Queen for ice cream.

I read about this at Christy Paws! We are staying inside today (as every day) but Mommy said something about the windows being open tomorrow as it's going to be less humid. I am going to be dreaming about that gift card for mommy or maybe the blue bowl for me! I of course wish every one could win.
We are training our puppy Abby this summer:) This should keep us very busy. She is a long haired German Shepherd that is 6 months old:)

Well, we would have loved to do special things, but this summer is just going to be a summer of staycationing and the peeps doing yard duties, and going to their respective jobs. We are planning to stay close to home this summer but we will be spending lots of time at the lake with our dogs. They also love having playdates at the dog park with their puppy pals.

Acht! My comment deleted before it posted. Anyway, we haven't been able to get out too much so far this summer with all the storms (and two of my dogs are deathly afraid of thunder - and fireworks and just about any other sudden, loud sound). I lost my sweet, deaf hound girl, Ran, back in April - she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder the beginning of the year and went downhill quickly, despite the best efforts of my vet and me. I plan on adopting another dog in a month or so, so I'm also working on getting things ready for that - including spending extra, special time with my other furbabies. I know they are missing Ran almost as much as I am.

My boys and I miss our cat, Miss Kitty so much! So we are on the look out for a new furbaby to share our summer.
Since I no longer have dogs, I really don't have plans with my furkids, I just hang out with the cats-but the rats love the fresh locally grown fruit-especially watermelon!!!
Our summer is devoted to finding a boat for us to live on with our dog.
