Meet Buddy #SundaySelfies

The morning after I lost Truffles, I woke up to an email telling me that my dear friends Alana & Crepes of Cat in the Fridge had sponsored a cat from Paws of Connecticut in my precious girl's memory. It meant more to me than words can say, and the only thing that would be even more wonderful is if Buddy could find his forever home from our sharing his story.

More information on Buddy and an application to adopt him can be found here. PLEASE SHARE!

The Sunday Selfies Blog Hop is hosted by The Cat on My Head.

  1. Wow, Buddy is so handsome. We keep praying that our sponsored kitty, Swizzle, finds a forever home, and we will add Buddy to the prayer list. That was a most wonderful thing that Mom Alana did for you. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  2. Oh! That was such a wonderful gesture by Alana and Crepes. What a beautiful way to celebrate the beauty of Truffles' life.

Buddy is a great cat. With those he knows and loves, he is an absolute sweetheart and a true lap cat. He also loves it when his best human friends lay on a towel on the floor. He snuggles right in next to us. It's a pretty safe bet that when he gets adopted, Buddy will sleep with his human every night, and cuddle up on the sofa, too. :)

  17. I was so surprised when I saw the photograph I took of Buddy in the blog hop! Then I saw that he's here in honor of Truffles. How lovely and thoughtful. Buddy is a volunteer favorite and and it's a mystery that he's still at PAWS. If you type his name into the search box on my blog, there are a lot of posts about him...there's even a portrait painted by the artist Diane Hoeptner.

  29. We know how much it brought us comfort when you did something similar in Rocky's name, and we couldn't think of a better way to honor our friend Truff. We miss her so. We hope Buddy finds a home, too. That was our secret wish. -Love Crepes and Alana.

  32. What a touching gift to give in honor of a remarkable kitty like Truffles. Auntie Alana & Crepes were wonderful to us and posted a treasured memorial to our Angel Ms. Phoebe, so we are not surprised by their thoughtful, kind act of friendship. Paws crossed Buddy is soon to find his future forever family where he will be spoiled as every cat deserves.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of sweet Truffles,
    Clove & Kaspars
