Caturday Art Goes Psycho

Meows from Mudpie!

I'm a bit perturbed with Mommy this week. Do you wanna know what she did after work on Wednesday? She went to the theater to see a special event screening of one of her all-time favorite movies, Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho.

Never mind that we have the DVD here at home, as well as a digital copy that she can watch on any device. You know, so we could watch it curled up *together* on the couch.

But no, she needed to see it on the "big screen" with a room full of strangers while I sat home alone. Just look at me...which would you choose???

Then after she got home she started thinking about how much I love to play in the bathtub (usually just as she's about to use it.) She started chuckling about how we could re-create Psycho's famous shower scene for our Caturday Art project this week using a picture she took of me in the tub.

I think the idea is kind of creepy myself, but she had fun with it. I can guarantee there were no crazy people with knives in the bathroom with us, but do you notice that I appear to be freaked out by something I'm looking at?

I think Mommy may have been nakey at the time. (Tee hee...)

  16. Hmmm... you certainly got us with that title. Sorry, but it's time you learned the brutal truth, Mudpie - humans are just plain weird. There. We said it. Wait till she starts photoshopping all kinds of stupid stuff on you... wait... let me guess... she's already done that... Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey gang

  20. Behind the shower curtain lurked a bundle of cuteness with eighteen wicked blades...not sure how bad that is, though; yesterday Elmo panicked and climbed up me, and though I had a row of bleeding wounds to wash with alcohol, most of them have already healed.
