Instead, we wanted to show you the special Christmas memorial spot that we created for Angel Truffles. Since her portrait, paw print, and ashes rest on a table in the living room that gets moved to make room for the Christmas tree, I had to find a new spot of honor for her during the holiday season.
At night I turn on the small tree's white lights and my little angel shines like the brightest star in the sky.
This brought tears to my eyes. Sweet Truffles. <3

What a beautiful memorial - this brought tears to my eyes. Hugs to you as you go through your first holiday season without your Angel Truffles. I'm glad you have Miss Mudpie to make it a special season despite missing Truffles.
ReplyDeleteAll the firsts are the worst according to my mom. Keep Truffles front and center, she will never be forgotten. We still have my mom's last dog's photos all over and even display her Christmas photo with Santa every year.
