Meows from Mudpie!
Today we thought we'd make you really jealous and take you inside an exciting Caturday night at our house.
As both a political and NASCAR junkie, Mommy was quite perturbed to discover that a debate and the first NASCAR event of the season were scheduled for the exact same time.
What's a girl to do but watch the debate on TV and the race on her iPawd? (I chose to concentrate on the latter...who needs to play Cat Fishing when you can catch the cars as they zoom past???)
I'm not complaining...it gave us the purr-fect chance to cuddle together on the couch. The only thing I disliked was the darn bell they kept ringing at the debate...it drove me crazy!!!
She looks so focused.
ReplyDeleteYa do look focused on da race!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be watching the race with great interest Mudpie.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You need to download some of the cat games for the Ipad. My cat bro Bert likes those sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI think you picked the better of the two, Mudpie. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you did a great job watching the race, Mudpie! Did you catch any of the cars as they raced past on the screen? Purrs!
ReplyDeleteWe don't think anyone in this house has the attention span to watch both at the same time - but couch cuddling sounds fun.
ReplyDeletemom isn't interested in either though she does wonder what Daiquiri would do if mom turned the tv to one of those car races
ReplyDeletecuddling is so good except if I get hot

Ooooh! We would have done the opposite cos the race should be on the big screen. Debates are better heard than seen. MOL! And, hey, if we were your Mom's party, we might switch to her candidate. Heh.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to cuddle with your mom. You look really interested in there :)
ReplyDeletePurrs xx

Our Mom says she thinks she would have done it the other way around and put the cars on the TV. She says, who needs to see the faces of the debaters. She gets so irritated as days of TV wasteland will go by with nothing to watch and then three or four things will all be on at the same time. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteMine just DVRs stuff but it sure wouldn't be politics! Hope you had fun watching both! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteYou look very interested in the race, Mudpie ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteThis is why cats should be in charge of TV scheduling!
ReplyDeletemudpie....cat fishin !!!!!! now yur talkin major prime time moovee viewin ....for
ReplyDeleteget de polly tix & carz !!!!! ♥♥♥
I think that is a great solution to the problem! I don't watch a whole lot of tv, but when I do it seems like all the best ones are on at the same time. Cinco and Manna would probably enjoy watching NASCAR with you. Those would be fun to try and catch! :)
ReplyDelete-Purrs from your friends at www.PlayfulKitty.net
multi-tasking at it's best!!! catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteYour Mom is a great multi-tasker.
ReplyDeleteWe stay far away from that political stuff, Mudpie. It's just crazy!
ReplyDeleteThe only way I would be interested in politics is if You were running for President!!! President Mudpie - now that sounds like a winner!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're impressed by your Mommy's ability to watch both, Mudpie!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you found a way to watch both & cuddle with Mom on the couch. You are a master multi-tasker!
