I hope no one is offended that I used the word pissy. This is a family blog, after all. Oh well. This is my blog and I can say whatever I want...you can't censor this tortie!
Yikes...I guess I am in a pissy mood, but I have very good reasons!
First of all, it's so freakin' hot!!! My favorite thing to do during the day is play, but it's so hot I just don't feel like it. When it finally decides to cool off around midnight I start pulling out my toys and zooming around the house...but then Mommy says it's time for bed! I just can't win.
Then the past couple mornings I've had brief coughing spells because of my asthma which resulted in my gagging and losing my breakfast.
Yesterday morning my grandma tried to rub my tummy and I grabbed her hand (claws out) and started bunny kicking her!
So when Mommy told me it was time to take my selfie this week, this is the best that I could muster. (Anyone know if there's such a thing as kitty PMS?)

It's the warm Mudpie, just the warm, it's not you so I know Mum will understand. You need a fan pointed right at you don't you -so you can cool down!!

Hi Mudpie, being a tortie, you are entitled to have a temperamental nature and humans will have to understand that! Hot weather does not bring out the best in people...or animals! I, Peaches, strongly feel a cat is entitled to express her moods (within reason). I have run about our house on many an occasion howling and no one needs know why! Calicos & Tortie, unite! Watch the clawsies though....ya wanna keep Grandma's good will & not miss out on any treats.

Honestly, Mudpie, I find the pissy side of torties and calicoes to be quite endearing! You ladies know what you want, when you want, and you're not afraid to tell us humans how it is. That being said, I sure am sorry that it's so hot for you. It was nasty hot here last week, but we're cooling off a bit now. I sure hope it cools off for you! Oh, and I happen to love this selfie of yours, Mudpie! Pissy or not, you look like a lovely, pensive thinker. Purrs!

sorry honey its so hot and your not feeling well snowshoes also get pissy so don't worry its just a genetic thing and its allowed our moms know how we are feeling and we are forgiven
No worries, we all get crabby sometimes. My human assistant gets quite pissy when it comes to the heat, too.

Kitty PMS oh don't tell Miss Boo. She's our cantankerous kitty now that Abby is an Angel. We understand the heat and we are glad the cold box works in our house, in fact Mom just had it checked out for the summer -- A -OK which is good cause we have a lot of feel like over 100 degree days!!

Poor Mudpie! And poor Mommy! You both made me laugh! When it is icky hot as it is in southern AZ, I feel the same way, as do our pusses. AC can't seem to keep up. I'm looking forward to your next post!

Thank you so much for your kind words of love and comfort on Milton's memorial post today. We were also hoping that Milton would thrive and be our "miracle kitty" who beat the odds. Our hearts are broken that that wasn't the way things turned out, no matter how much we tried. We take comfort in knowing that Milton touched many lives besides our own, and we appreciate your words more than you know <3

I like the word...especially as I am pissy too because of the introoders in the house :D We had cold bad weather until now, but today the sun is finally making an entrance in our Country and we feel probably as pissed...I mean warm as you, Mudpie. Cool Pawkisses for a cooler week :) <3
No need to apologise Mudpie. When things go wrong my mum is always saying it pisses her off. We have the hots here as well and we are not used to it so she gets crabby.
