The other night I was watching the local news and the newscaster was practically in tears over summer coming to an end. Not this girl! I'm counting down the days until there's that first nip in the air and salivating over the thought of pulling on a sweater and ankle boots!
The only part of dressing for colder weather that I don't look forward to is wearing hats. I despise putting a hat on my head. I find them to be itchy, uncomfortable, and when they come off my hair is either completely flat or frizzed out to the point where I look like I've stuck my finger in an electrical socket.
Living in Vermont I need to have my ears covered when the temperature dips, so one year I decided to try wearing a headband. Now I live in headbands all winter and I've accumulated quite a collection, although they're all quite boring. My favorite thing about the cooler weather coming? The cooler temperatures! I live in South Carolina, so the break from 90+ degree summers is certainly welcome.
The only downside to cooler weather -- I have to wear real shoes instead of flipflops. LOL
These are so sweet! They're really cute but subtle too. I am looking forward to fall and not sweating so dang much! I love having all 4 seasons where I live but the sticky humidity is the pits.

I live in Phoenix so summer is our winter and I hibernated from the Extreme heat. Now our great weather sets in and I am outside enjoying it for the next 9 months!!!!!!!

I'm with you: I can't wait for cooler weather! Dog walks are much more pleasant when I'm not covered in sweat the entire time.

My favorite part is fall and early winter before -32 C (-26 F) weather hits for a month in January! Hard to do outside activities but people do, other people do, not me, better! The official name of my city is Winnipeg, MB Canada but we call it Winterpeg for a good part of the year! Thankfully we hit +32C (90 F) in the summer!
