A New Adventure #SundaySelfie

Meows from Mudpie!

I've neglected to tell you about an exciting development in my little world. For many years Mommy's kitties haven't been allowed in the basement because there was a bit of a mouse problem down there and she didn't want us to get into anything nasty.

Well, thanks to a few humane traps the invasion seems to have cleared up so she decided to finally let me down instead of fighting with me every time she needed to go herself.

OMC it is so pawsome I can barely contain myself!!! Loads of boxes to climb on and nooks and crannies to investigate...I spend hours there everyday and never get bored.

This week I decided to take my selfie in the basement. As you can see it's kind of dark and creepy, and I was obviously on the move when I snapped the picture, but it sure is a fun place to hang out!

Anybuddy wanna come over and play?

We're joining our friends at The Cat on My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!

WOW! looks like heaven! Did someone say "a mouse problem"? I'll be over in a trice, possibly sooner, if I can find my passport. Failing that if you send me a few of those mice I'll catch them for you! purrs ERin

How fun! I do want to say, I bet it would have been even MORE fun if the mice were still down there! We have those little critters around our house and a couple of times they've gotten inside, and I've had fun chasing them and playing with them! For some reason, when I've done this, my human doesn't like it. She catches them and drives away with them. She is a spoilsport!

A basement sounds like lots of fun, and there might even be a left over mousie lurking somewhere.

Nicky used to fight the peeps to go into the basement but it was so dark, dirty and there were so many rooms to hide in down there, she tried to stop him. Notice I said tried.

OOOO we want to join you too, Mudpie. The very idea of all those boxes makes us roll around in CATasy!! Please advise driving directions to your basement. (We agree with you about not hunting the mice, we've never been into it either...we can hit them with our paw but are not "into" catching" them.

Mudpie, Misty May would join you in a heartbeat. She is a fanatic for the basement. We aren't really allowed there. Dad has a worksop and chemicals from his dark room, and all kinds of things we can get into, but Misty May and sometimes Lily will sprint in at any opportunity. Often Misty May spends hours investigating when Dad can't get her out. Looks as if you are having fun, and you are adorable in your selfie. Thanks for being a hopper.
