Meows from Mudpie!
Today we're joining the The Pet Blogger Bloopers Round-Up, hosted by The Lazy Pit Bull. It's the place to be on the second Friday of each month to see your favorite bloggers' blooper photos. This is a blog hop dedicated to showcasing the results of those photo sessions that have gone off the rails!
To quote Ralph Kramden, "I've got a BIG MOUTH!!"

And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader!
1. I love the following Christmas film(s): The Muppet Christmas Carol. It's one of my three all-time favorite movies and it inspired my collection of A Christmas Carol books, figurines and ornaments. I still remember watching it in the theater the year it was released and just being entranced.
2. I don’t care for the following Christmas film(s): all the modern day Christmas "classics" like Elf, Home Alone and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Comedies just aren't my thing and these movies don't make me feel festive.
3. At the holidays, I cannot resist anything and everything peppermint.
4. A favorite holiday memory of mine is riding around in the car looking at Christmas lights with my parents every year growing up.
Don't worry Mudpie, for kitties, a big mouth is something desirable!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. I think this is the only shot of you I've seen of you where you look goofy, Mudpie! I love it! Bear and I are glad you survived the vet ... we would've called for help if we hadn't heard from you again within a couple minutes ;)
ReplyDeleteVery funny blooper, Mudpie! You look like you're either really surprised or about to say something really important. My parents used to take me in the car to look at Christmas lights too. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteMudpie, your blooper made us smile and laugh and we just can't handle its purrfection!
ReplyDeleteAnd we love your fill-ins! Although, I must admit, I do love me some Christmas comedies, and my #1 is essentially your #2. (Perhaps that's because Christmas gatherings with my extended family are not far from National Lampoon level, so I can't help but laugh out of sheer sympathy.) That being said, I also love me some peppermint. I just about made myself sick on a bag of Christmas peppermint patties last night. And although I didn't put it as my answer (although I really should have), I also have so many fond memories of driving around to see Christmas lights as a child. Actually, I still do this! Purrs!
We're you telling Mommy no more photos, Mudpie? :)
ReplyDeleteI just love this photo! That is exactly the look my tortie Amarula gives me when she gets caught doing something she shouldn't be doing!
ReplyDeleteOh Mudpie, you're so cute. Big mouth or not!
ReplyDeleteWe love that photo!!'

Oh, Mudpie! Ha! You are adorable. I love Muppet anything, so I agree. I like comedies, if tastefully done, so I like most of the ones you mentioned above. I am not really big on Home Alone, though. Christmas Vacation is kind of old, now, but my era, so, I guess I relate.
ReplyDeletePeppermint is my favourite, especially with chocolate. Yum. I love memories like you described. Merry Christmas! Hugs! Annie at ~McGuffy's Reader~
Oh Mudpie! That's a great blooper!
ReplyDeleteCute blooper :) Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, nice answers. Those sound like nice memories with your folks driving around looking at holiday lights. I have never seen the Muppet movie- I should get it from the library. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteRiding to see the Christmas lights is a great way for a family to be together and have fun. Hope you have a great weekend and a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy riding around and looking at the Christmas lights, too.
ReplyDeleteI think that peppermint smells great, but it makes me sick if I eat it. I don't know why.
I love the photo!
Have a blessed day and a Merry Christmas!
yep, riding around with hot cocoa - fun memories!
