Mudpie and I spent Tuesday afternoon on the living room floor wrapping Christmas presents, both for family and our Secret Paws. Cat moms know it's not the easiest undertaking with little paws getting into everything but for me, the little bit of inconvenience is worth it.
Later that evening I was looking through pictures on my computer and discovered that 3 years ago on the exact same day I was doing the exact same thing in the exact same spot...with Truffles.
I had adopted Truffles not quite four months prior, and getting ready for her first Christmas was so exciting.
We didn't have nearly enough time together, but I am so incredibly grateful for every single moment that we shared.

What a sweet memory. <3
You sure know how to pick the gorgeous torties! Then again, all torties are gorgeous, right?
What a precious post this is. It's more than normal for you to miss your sweet Truffles, but she certainly lives on in beautiful memories such as this one. Purrs, and happy wrapping!
What a bittersweet memory.
Thank goodness for wonderful memories that make the heart smile. Hugs from all of us and thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
She was a great helper.

Lovely memory and sweet photo. Purrs
What a lovely lovely memory.
That's a great memory. Purrs...
I had TW mail our Secret Paws yesterday, before the deep freeze. I don't snoopervise the wrapping as mch as Chizzy and Autumn used to.
Such a sweet memory and how appropriate for today.
What a great picture.
Well...some *photograph* better than others. Mogwai spent the first year of her life hearing remarks like "Is that a cat?" She was a Fine Animal, as Koko the Gorilla would undoubtedly have agreed, but the spots on her face were...absurd. Adorably absurd.
Going through my emails from before the holidays and saw this. Truffles is indescribably precious. A big hug to you and Mudpie...
