And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader!

1. I have seen many country music legends and superstars play in concert. Even though I live in Vermont where not a whole lot happens I've been very lucky to see most of my favorites through the years: Reba, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Toby Keith, Alabama, Clint Black, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, Ricky Van Shelton, Lorrie Morgan, even Tom Wopat from The Dukes of Hazzard! I've probably forgotten some.

2. I would like to attend a George Strait concert. He's about my only favorite that never visited my neck of the woods, and seeing as how he's mostly retired now I'll probably never get to see him. I also regret that I never got to see Conway Twitty in concert. I had tickets to see him in September 1993 but he passed away 3 months before.

3. In the dead of Winter, I stay inside with cats and books...which is pretty much what I do the rest of the year too.

4. The main ringer on my cell phone is the ringer it was pre-programmed with. I don't have a very fancy phone.

  2. Beautiful art! You look very thoughtful there, Mudpie. And your mommy has reminded me that I saw Ricky Van Shelton in concert years and years and years ago, and Alabama years and years ago.

  7. Lovely art! My mum used to go to a lot of concerts in the 80s and 90s. She saw many of the bands that were popular then.

  9. Beautiful art Miss Mudpie. Thank your Mom for participating in the fill-ins. That is an impressive list of concerts she has been too, I would have enjoyed any of those. I forgot to list that I did see Tammy Wynette at The Big E in the early 1980's. Your Mom and I are alike in preferring indoors with books and a cat year round. Have a great weekend.

  10. Mudpie truly is a work of art!

You've seen a lot of great concerts. I've seen some of those but would have loved to see Loretta Lynn. On #3, my first thought was that I pretty much like to do the same all seasons, stay in and read be with my kitties. Happy Caturday!

  13. Did I not comment on this yesterday? What is wrong with me?!? Well, know that you are always gorgeous, Mudpie! Also, our fill-in answers #3 and #4 are so very similar. I love furry snuggles and reading sessions in the winter (and all year round)! And I certainly don't have a fancy phone (which is perfectly fine with me!). Purrs to you, Mudpie and Melissa!
