My Sweet Tuxedo Boy #TBT
Mommy here.
If you're anything like me, you can recite the Gotcha Days and Rainbow Bridge Days of each beloved pet without second thought, but dates regarding the humans in your life require a bit more brain power.
July 7th has become the most dreaded day of the year for me (the date I lost both Tara and Truffles) but for 3 years in a row in the late '90s January 8th was a date I would've been happy to banish from the calendar forever.
On that date in 1999 I lost my Uncle Bob who was like a second father to me, in 1998 an ice storm struck the northeast and we were without power and bailing water from the basement for days, and on January 8, 1997 my beautiful tuxedo boy Sebastian went to the Bridge.
20 years ago last Sunday.
He was a neighborhood cat who had been neglected by his various owners through the years, but he had a happy "senior citizenhood" with my family.
I miss you, sweet boy. I hope you've been taking care of all my little girls who've gone on to join you.

He was a handsome boy
Purrs to you as you remember Sebastian. Do you know, my human is terrible with dates, on purpose... that way, she does not have reminders of the sad days. She DOES, however, remember my birthday (or else)!
We know how you feel.

He was very handsome. Love the white mustache! Bless you and your family for taking care of him.
I am exactly like you in that sense, always remembering my furbabies' significant dates, while usually having to think twice when it comes to those of the humans in my life. That's probably because my furbabies are my life.
Your Sebastian was so very handsome. And he was so lucky to have found you and your family. He looks so much like my angel Rosie's brother, Sammy. I'm sure sweet Sebastian is watching over your girls over there at the Rainbow Bridge, and that they're all having a blast together. I hope my girl Rosie and my boy Sammy and my angel pups Banjo and Shellie are all having fun with them, too! Until we all get to meet again.
Handsome boy. My Mr. Bubbles and his sister, Prissy, are Tuxedos.
What a handsome guy. You never forget or love the ones that came before. Purrs...
((((Hugs)))) He was a very handsome ManCat.

Sebastian was a handsome boy, I am glad you saved him and gave him a good life.
I love the name Sebastian! I actually had a pet snake named Sebastian believe it or not! HE looks like he was a real charmer. Hope those dates in both Jan and July become better for you!
What a bittersweet memory and a wonderful rescue. He will always be there for you and your girls and all the other cats who come into your life.
What a handsome cat he was. I love his face markings.
I'm sure he has never forgotten you either! What a charming mustache he had and what a lovely life with you!
I'm just going to crow a little bit ... he might be the most exquisitely handsome tuxie I've ever seen. That "mustache" and those perfect white paws!
