Catitions Privacy Screens for Cats and Cat Parents

This post is sponsored by Thumbs Pets

Let's be honest, we all have unsightly areas in our home that we'd like to hide away from visitors. Whether you've got pets or kids in the house it's virtually impossible to keep it neat and tidy 24/7, and unexpected visitors are always going to come knocking at the most inopportune times.

In my house, Mudpie's food dishes and toys are always scattered around the living room. No matter how many times a day I pick them up and pile them nicely they're just going to get pulled back out again. (Why am I placing all the blame on my cat for our messiness? I have plenty of my own junk strewn around too!

Maybe your cat is getting older and you want to move their litter box to a more easily accessible location for them. Wouldn't it be nice to have a stylish privacy screen to enable you to hide these areas away from possibly judgmental eyes?

This need for a beautiful yet practical piece of furniture was the inspiration behind Thumbs Pets' new Catitions cat-themed room divider. Consisting of 3 panels, approximately 24 inches high and about 50 inches wide, each Catition has detailed etched designs that take time to create, and are made with love in the USA. Plus, part of the proceeds from sales will be donated to a local non-profit for cats, Helen Sanders Cat Paws.

5 reasons we love the Catitions privacy screen:
  • Conceals messy kitty areas (litter box, toys, food areas)
  • Gives cats a little needed privacy when using the litter box (good alternative to pet enclosures and covered litter boxes)
  • Coated with non-toxic, waterproof, food grade sealer created for pets
  • Designed especially for cats: sturdy enough to stand on its own, yet light enough for small cats
  • Chic home decor furniture piece that complements most interiors

Limited time offer-Super Early Bird Discount + Free Personalization:
As an incentive, Thumbs Pets is offering a limited time Super Early Bird discount on their upcoming Indiegogo campaign. The first 150 people who pre-order will receive a 45% discount (MSRP: $119, you pay only $53!), and the top 50 will get a free personalized engraving on their Catition! Limited offer, ends March 18.

About Thumbs Pets:

Thumbs Pets is named after the owner's beloved orange tabby rescue Thumbs, a polydactyl cat. After passing away at age 17 from cancer, Thumbs' family was understandably devastated and decided to dedicate themselves to helping improve the lives of pets by educating owners and by creating organic, innovative, practical products in Thumbs' memory.

What a great idea! I need one of those for my litter box corner.

This is such a great idea, not to mention adorable! Around here, Eddy insists that she have a litter box in one of the main living rooms. It's where we watch TV, hang out, sometimes eat supper and snack, and where Eddy relieves herself. I'm thinking this cute little kitty partition is perfect!

That looks really nice, and it's something I never would have thought of.

Very pretty. It would look good just as a display piece.

Interesting concept. If I had a larger home I might have a need for that, but Cody has a litter box that is enclosed in a furniture-type of a cabinet in my bathroom. He eats in the kitchen (and Dakota isn't allowed in there). We only have a two bedroom condo so for someone like us I don't see a need, but definitely for those in a house like you and many others. catchatwithcarenandcody

Those screens are gorgeous! I'm interested in them as decor as well as function. Since Bear doesn't like enclosed places ... this might be a great alternative to a covered litter box!

Those are nice screens. I don't like covered litter boxes so this would be perfect.
