FroliCat® Fox Den Review & Giveaway

Meows from Mudpie!

Since I began my cat blogging career a year and a half ago (wow, time flies when you're having fun!), I've watched many of my friends getting to review the pawsome toys that FroliCat® makes and have been waiting for the day to try some out myself.

When were they going to ask for my opinion? Don't they know that I live (yes, LIVE, not just love) to play? Can't they see what a fun girl I am?

Last month my dream came true when the nice FroliCat peeps sent me an email with the opportunity to review two of their new toys, the Fox Den and Multi Laser.

Today I'm featuring the Fox Den and I'll just say that my first experience with a FroliCat toy has been four paws up! When the button is pushed that crazy fox tail moves back and forth and in and out of the den. The tail pops out quite a ways too...a few times it's even whacked me on the butt!!!

The toy automatically turns off after 10 minutes, and there's also a "Play All Day" mode where it turns on for 10 minutes every 2 hours. In between automatic play sessions, when the toy is resting, the motion sensor on the front of the toy will detect nearby motion within several feet, and turn on automatically. I haven't tried this feature yet but that sure sounds like a fun surprise!

The Fox Den requires 3 "AA" batteries, which are not included. I burned through my first set of batteries in just 4 days! The second set is dying as we speak so I may need to start spending my treat money on batteries. Mommy says thank Cod for the dollar store. When I decide it's time to play I stick my paw in the den...that's her cue to hit the button! Yep, I'm pretty much obsessed with it.

The FroliCat Fox Den retails for $19.95 but thanks to FroliCat one lucky kitty in the US is going to win one of their very own! To enter, simply fill out the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!

  16. My two kittens would love to play with this. Maybe it would keep them from chasing the adult cat's tails in my home (which doesn't always end well for the kittens!)

  18. What a cute cat toy! I'm glad my cats play with each other...but delighted to see a toy with the potential to keep cats interested.

While off the grid last summer, I learned with flashlights that Eveready batteries last so much longer than the Dollar Store kind that I'd rather get the better kind and be done with it...if I had that much cash in hand!
