Meows from Mudpie!

Today we're taking part in the annual celebration of Dr Seuss' birthday, also known as National Read Across America Day. While it's customary to dress up in the Cat in the Hat's signature red & white striped hat, our favorite Seuss creation is the Grinch, so I challenged Mommy to write a little ditty for me to the tune of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch".

Here's what she came up with!

You're a cute one, Miss Mudpie

You really make us squeal! 
You're as scrumptious as an eclair 

And you're worshipped far and near,
Miss Mudpie 
I have it on very good authority that you're a...big meowing* deal!

*Mommy's first inclination was to use a famous quote from our former Vice President but I reminded her that this is a family blog.
