The Whiskered Wonder in Watercolor #CaturdayArt

Meows from Mudpie!

How do you like my new nickname, "The Whiskered Wonder"? It just popped into Mommy's head when she was trying to get cute with alliteration. I think I like it!

And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader!

Mommy's answers:

1. The most interesting museum I have been to is the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. Okay, it's also pretty much the only museum I've been to but for anyone interested in New England history, it's the place to go!

2. The most interesting historical place I have been to is the Calvin Coolidge Homestead in Plymouth, Vermont. Granted, I don't travel much from my home state, but we are very proud of our only Vermont-born US President. I was even able to see the farmhouse sitting room where he took the oath of office after President Harding died. His father administered the oath by the light of a kerosene lamp!

Mudpie's answers:

3. Bird TV is back!

4. I was surprised I didn't like the ham my family had for Easter dinner. So many of my kitty friends adore it, but I thought it was gross. On the other paw, Mommy wasn't surprised by my reaction at all!

  1. Cool art! Mudpie, did you know that the Coolidge's had lots of critters for pets in the White House? You should ask your human about that!

  2. That is a great art picture. :) I love the long whiskers.

How cool that you've been to the Calvin Coolidge Homestead. According to the We're Related app, he's a distant cousin of mine, too. I have the feeling they're going to accuse me of being cousins with all of the presidents the way things are going. haha

Did you take pictures at and inside of the homestead? I would love to see them. :)

    Bird TV is great! :)

    Have a blessed day.

  5. The Whiskered Wonder sounds like my kind of kitty superheroine, gorgeous Mudpie! And we love your fill-ins, as always. I don't travel much either. Proud homebody here! And hooray for Bird TV! You know, Mudpie, none of the kitties here liked the Easter ham either. Pup Astrid sure did, though. Purrs!

  10. Very pretty art. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers from you both. I love Vermont, but have never gotten to that museum or Coolidge's house. Miss Mudpie, you are too funny, almost all my cats love ham.

  11. Nice colorful art that makes your eyes pop in a good way. HAH—if my peeps had their way, Vermont would have had another president even if he was born in NYC.

  12. Whisker Wonder, indeed! We love it! Which program did you use to create the art?

  13. We think we have used that filter before, and it makes for amazing art with tortie furs. Well done. Mom always thinks it is so cool to be someplace and know that someone from history was there before.
