Today is Meezer Colors Day, a day for all kitties to flaunt their colors with pride.
Many thanks to Yadiri's Crafty Adventures for the loose translation of the Spanish version.

A few weeks ago I celebrated my 10 year anniversary of living with torties, and chronicled my love affair with the most beautiful cats ever made in a special post. BlogPaws was going on at the time so some of our regular readers may have missed it (or in case you might just want to read it again), here's the link to A Decade of Tortitude: The Magic & Mystique Of My Heart Cats.
What an awesome legend! But OMC, if I let Binga see it, she'll never let us forget it!
ReplyDeleteHey!!!! I can't let Aunty Sienna see this at ALL!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this legend - I wish someone knew the origin.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful legend!
ReplyDeleteI never knew of this legend until you shared it with us, and it is such an intriguing one. I just love reading it. And for the record, Mudpie, we think you are magical indeed!

ReplyDeleteLove it. Those of us, owned by tortes, know how special they are. :)
ReplyDeleteAs someone who is owned by a tortie, I loved reading this legend again!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard this legend, but it's wonderful! No torties in our clowder...yet...they are simply beautiful.

I'm so glad you referred back to your previous post because I missed it. Torties are just stunning, exquisite creatures - inside and out. They effortlessly capture hearts ... and Mudpie is no exception. Sometimes I feel bad for being so enamored with her ... but "Bear" has awesome taste ;)
ReplyDeleteI had never heard about this legend before. It's simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteTorties are so beautiful. Our mom has never been lucky to be owned by one, but she would love to.
ReplyDeleteCreative way to look at torties. I look at them like dark-skinned calicos with catitude. I thought Meezers were siamese and the like.
