Mommy is saying all the time that she could eat me up.
I know mud pie desserts are yummy...but she does realize that Mudpie kitties aren't meant to be eaten, doesn't she?

Uh-oh! When Sparkle was around, my human used to say, "I'm so hungry I could eat a kitty!" That was pretty horrifying too, but as far as I know, she has never acted on it.

Hm. Our human read once a study on human infants. Parents sometimes feel like eating their babies because they're so cute. THe study suggested this was a form of redirected aggression , meaning that babies driving their parents mad (well, they do) and that the potential harm resulting from this is redirected in some weird food way.
Well. Human brains. We're not surprised that their brain is so crazy, because humans in general are just plein weird. And what that means to you --- well, you'll have to figure it out yourself. Then again, it hardly ever happens that humans cook and eat their babies, so you should be safe.
We always wondered about that dessert question vs your name,Mudpie. We think you would make a great dessert actually so we recommend being careful. If you see a gleam in their eye, take off!

I think that is one of those strange peep customs, saying that you are good enough to eat. Me I'm not entirely sure that is a compliment, but I've said if theres any cream cakes around here, I'll be the one doing the slicing MOL

I think you're okay, Mudpie. I say the same thing to Paisley, but I don't mean it literally. Besides, she can always tell you apart from the desserts because the desserts aren't all furry!

MudPie, when I first heard of your blog and your name, I just fell in love with it. I thought what a cool name for a gorgeous tortie. I also thought MudPie would be a great name for a delicious flavoured ice-cream. It would have chocolate, caramel, and cookies and cream with little sprinkles of nuts and biscuits, yum!
