Today is the second anniversary of the day my baby girl Truffles flew off to the bridge, and the fourth anniversary of the day her big sister Tara paved the way before her. It goes without saying this is the hardest day of the year for me. I thought this year might be easier but if anything it's been harder. I've been dreading this day for weeks.
Our time together is so fleeting; their fragile lives all too short. Never miss an opportunity to show them how much they're loved.

As much as we adore Mudpie, we celebrate your other tortie beauties as well. You're right - life can change in an instant and you'll never regret that extra cuddle or the hours you've lost feeling in your limbs and had to use the bathroom but you couldn't bear to move a sleepy kitty.
