Meows from Mudpie!
This week for my Caturday Art project I went to Photofunia and used their Watercolor Splash effect. I played around with the colors and chose a blend of yellows and oranges, not just because they complement my tortie colors so well, but also because they look just right for this late summer/looking forward to fall time of year...

And now our weekly answers (answered by Mommy) for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader!
1. Arguing politics on Facebook is a waste of time. I've forced myself to (mostly) bite my tongue so much lately it's a wonder I still have one.
2. My favorite app is Facebook. I much prefer scrolling my feed via the app on my iPad as opposed to my laptop (or my desktop at work...shhh!).
3. My first car was a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. I had to let it go last year because the frame was rotten and wouldn't inspection. I learned how to drive and took my road test using that car!
4. The best car I ever owned is the one I'm driving now, a 2016 Jeep Patriot, because I had to make a decision on it so fast I was afraid I'd suffer buyer's remorse, but I love it and enjoy hopping into it every day. (And, of course, hopping back into it after work to head home to Mudpie.)
I have a tenuous relationship with FB. I really don't care for it. It is not what it started off to be. Too much, now...too much everything. The language, the arguing, the inappropriateness...too much. It is not personal enough; it is too much of a free-for-all. But, I am old fashioned, I know. I can see why you love your Jeep! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty art, Mudpie! I don't drive, and don't want to. I prefer to be driven. Actually, so does my human! Not sure where that leaves us.
ReplyDeleteMudpie, we are looking so forward to autumn, and this beautiful art of yours is making us yearn for it even more. And tell your mom that we really enjoyed her fill-ins, Mudpie. This here human is the same way with Facebook. And don't Jeep Patriots have heated seats? That seems like the perfect vehicle for staying toasty in the winter. Purrs!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful. Have a great weekend.

Mudpie, that art is really spectacular. Who's your photobomber? Your #1 answer does sound as if it would not only be a waste of time but quite frustrating as well. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

ReplyDeleteLove your art. Very colorful and creative. I was gonna do two pretty colors like that but went with the bricks instead. If you would have buyer's remorse about something else, you wouldn't have to bite your tongue. MOL!
