I live 20+ miles north of the Freedom Towers and on a clear day I can spot them by the river. They are a daily reminder of what happened and we will always honor those who lost their lives.
Hard to believe so much time has passed. I was in NYC last year and got to see where the Trade Center towers used to be. It is a beautiful but somber place, and brought back so many unsettling memories.
Sometimes, it seems like it was just yesterday. We are remembering and praying today.
