Meows from Mudpie!
Who's spending this weekend getting ready for Halloween? We're putting the finishing touches on our annual Halloween short story. Mommy told me earlier this month that she didn't think she'd write one this year because she didn't have the time. I was really disappointed and hoped she'd reconsider. Then an idea took hold in her head and she had to drop everything to write it. Now she says it's her favorite one yet (this will be year #4) and we're super excited for you all to read it on Tuesday.

I'm so looking forward to reading this year's short story! My human did that only once, a few years ago when Sparkle was still around. It was fun, but she hasn't done it since.

We are so glad your mom reconsidered, Mudpie. We cannot wait to read it! This here human thinks writing Halloween (and Christmas!) short stories is such a fantastic idea, and hopes to someday have the gumption to follow through with stories like your mom does, Mudpie. Purrs!

We are preparing fer Halloween. Preparing to BLACK OUT the house... TBT has big magnetic hooks over the front door windows to hang a thick towel, a few old blankets to put on the top of the draperies, pulled in the welcome mat, is ready to move our food bowls into the bedroom where we will hide, and is going to play games on the laptop (which doesn't cast any light).
We panic when people knock on the doors, so we hide. And TBT helps us.
