Meows from Mudpie!
I created my art again this week using Photo Lab, and it serves a dual purpose. First, as the blog post title states, Mommy often calls me her "heart". (Aww, I love you too, Mommy!) Second, today is my wonderful grandma and grandpa's 45th wedding anniversary, so only a heart will do for this occasion! They both think I'm the cat's meow and I love them to pieces too!

1. Keep calm and rescue cats.
2. Our fall weather this year disappoints me. We've had way too many days that still feel like summer and I'm missing the beauty of a true Vermont autumn.
3. Mudpie is my muse, my love, my best friend.
4. In retrospect, I wish I had entered the veterinary field. (More on that Monday.)
The art is stunning...has a patriotic look, as well as the heart. Our mom's "heart" kitty was Fiona. Wow your grandparents must be the age of our parents, as their next anniversary will be their 45th. Your mom's #2 was similar to our mom's. Who took fall? Whoever has it, pease return it! ReplyDeleteAlso, tell your mom she did a great job on the fill-ins, Mudpie! We've been on the lookout for autumn, but it seems to hiding somewhere. And this here human wanted to be a veterinarian when she was growing up, but then after doing some thinking on what that fully entailed, including sad goodbyes, I ultimately changed my mind. I still do love working with adorable kitties and pups, though, of course! Purrs!
Ooh, I love this! That is lovely, Mudpie. Happy anniversary to your gramma & grampa! :) We have had a disappointing fall here in Maryland as well--too hot & humid.

ps - is PhotoLab an app?
Happy Anniversary to your grandparents! 45 years is a long time, here's to many more years. I love the art you created for them. Thank you to your mom for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I look forward to hearing more about wanting to have chosen the vet field. The trouble with all of those is so many deaths to deal with, I don't think I could even be a receptionist. Have a nice weekend! I hope you are taking your folks out to celebrate. XO
ReplyDeleteLove your artwork and happy anniversary to your Grandma and Grandpa!!!! I think you would have made a most pawesome Veterinarian for sure! (It's never too late by the way.......)......and I agree with you about Fall. It has been MUCH too warm to suit me here in Michigan and I don't think our fall colors are anything like they usually are. The wacky weather screwed everything up! catchatwithcarenandcody

ReplyDeleteI can't believe it! Your art won't render on my Mac. All I get is a box with a little image square in the upper right corner. I'll take everyone's word that it's pawsome. Happy 45th to the peeps.
ReplyDeleteOur Autumn weather has been very strange in Scotland as well - there are butterflies still out as they think it's still summer. Have a lovely day.
