Mommy keeps telling me that I'm getting difficult. I've never been a huge fan of cooperating with the flashy box, but lately whenever she wants me to pose with something I decide I have far more important cat stuff to do.
Hey, I'm a busy tortie! Toys need to be played with, goings-on outside the doors and windows need to snoopervised, naps need to be taken. I say if Mommy needs someone to pose with things so badly she should do it herself. (I know, I know. You don't visit our blog to see her, you visit to see me. I completely understand.)
Anyways, we thought it would be fun to show you some of my latest bloopers. Even though Mommy gets frustrated at times, these outtakes make her smile and we hope they have the same effect on you too. So in a roundabout way, I'm doing my job, right?

Now that it's October and our favorite time of the year (Halloween and Christmas) is right around the corner, we're busy making plans to bring you lots of cat-related gift ideas for the cats and cat lovers on your holiday shopping list! We're taking tomorrow (Thursday) off but will be back on Friday with our annual Etsy picks for Halloween. We've chosen some goodies!

OMC, Mudpie, those look just like the photos my human took of Binga the other day! They ALL pretty much came out looking like that.

You kitties are hard to control. My cat bro Bert works well because he is so food motivated. He will do almost anything once he realizes he gets paid to work.

I must say I feel sympathetic to your mom Mudpie. I go through the same difficulties with my cat. For him posing for pictures is not a priority either.
Actually those bored-and-peevish "talk about pet adoption" shots could have worked...even if they're not absolutely the cutest pictures Mudpie's ever posed for. They sort of match a Petfinder photo I reposted a few times before seeing how nasty the cookies were getting. "Jade from Atlanta is still not adopted? What is the PROBlem?"
Btw, beautiful, photogenic Jade is another Tortie--she looks a bit like Heather, only with normal paws.

Gee, your Mom needs to come to our house if you say those are bloopers. Those are some of the most polite bloopers we've ever seen! We prefer the stink eye and run away methodology!
Hoomins did not make cameras with kitties in mind, Mudpie! Otherwise, purrfect images would happen EVERY TIME!

Hahaha! You are so funny, Mudpie. I love your outtakes. Your cattitude is just right. :) Manna and Dexter agree that kitties have better things to do than product photo shoots (unless they get to eat the product).
