Meows from Mudpie!
Remember how we said the Christmas tree was going up on Monday? Well, the deed is done. (Although it's not lit or decorated yet. It's sitting in the living room nakey.)
I had fun snoopervising the heavy lifting - literally. The tree going up requires moving furniture, and since Mommy has to do it herself she had to move everything out of this cabinet in order to lift it. I couldn't resist and had to hop in! Mommy didn't have the heart to make me move so she used it as a good excuse to take a break :)

P.S. My human actually gave our Christmas tree to Goodwill! Can you believe it?! Actually, she is planning to replace it... maybe with a bigger one!
We cannot wait until our Christmas tree goes up! (Especially Eddy, the resident Christmas tree climber.) We try so hard to give Thanksgiving its time to shine, but our tree never goes up any later than the day after Thanksgiving. And to do so, we also have to move some furniture. Isn't it so much fun helping your human do that, Mudpie? You sure make it look adorable, too!
That cabinet looks like a nice place for a nap! We will probably start putting up our decorations next week. Funny enough our dad never put the decorations back in the attic last year. The Christmas boxes are all still stacked up in the bathroom from last year. Humans are silly!
My cat bro Bert used to climb our tree and hang out in it when he was younger. We dogs aren't real interested in it.

Anything is possible, Mudpie! We rearrange stuff at Eastside Cats all of the time, just to make Angel and Chuck more comfy.

She certainly should! I agree about the blankie. TW used to have a cabinet like that at the old house that housed some of her records.
That is a great place for snoopervising your mommy, Mudpie! Maybe she will put a little kitty bed in there and decorate it all up like a gingerbread house for you. :) I'm glad that you helped get that Christmas tree up. Humans can not be left to their own devices when it comes to holiday decorating (at least that is what Manna and Dexter tell me).
