And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader...

Mommy's answers:

1. My guiding word for 2018 is acceptance. I've finally allowed myself to accept the fact that there are many, many things I have no control over. I still need a reminder every now and then, but my goal is to focus my energy on the things I do have the power the change.

2. A house is not a home without CATS! (What else did you think I would say???)

Mudpie's answers:

3. I look forward to spring window whiffies this year. I've been longingly gazing out the window lately and Mommy refuses to open it for me!

4. I really need to get more exercise, because it's been too darn cold to move!

  4. Your art looks really cool (pun intended)! You'd better wait a few months on the window whiffies, Mudpie--it must be super cold where you live right now. :)

  17. Hahaha we were trying to figure out what is that unusual expression on your frosty face, Mudpie. We have decided it's "disapproval of too-cold weather." Are we right?
PS: That's a superlative frosty art effect, we luv it!

  18. You are a great model for your mom. Nice!
Acceptance is a key to happiness. It took me a long time to realize that. Good one!
I am sorry for being so late. One step forward, three back. Sick dog, Kenzie, is better. But, we had some very bad news about Clyde. However, we are determined to not let it steal joy. Clyde is all about living life with joy. Animals remind me of the little things like that. Sometimes, I need a good cry, but, like Clyde, "I got dis." Hugs.
