We had a bit of drama at our house this week. (What else is new?) Late Wednesday night Mommy opened the fridge to take out a snack only to notice that everything on the top shelf was freezing - even the cat food!!! The setting hadn't been changed but she lowered it anyways, but by Thursday morrning the rest of the fridge was freezing too!
She called the repairman who couldn't come until Friday afternoon, but he suggested that she turn the setting down as low as possible. That started to thaw things out so she turned it back up a little and since then it's been perfectly normal. The repairman couldn't find anything wrong and thinks the door may have been left open a bit. If it happens again we'll have to change the thermostat.
Mommy cleaned off the small shelf next to the fridge before he came, so I thought that would be the purrfect spot to keep an eye on the ailing fridge...and to take my selfie for the week!
We're joining our friends at The Cat On My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!
That is a super cute selfie, Mudpie. Did your snoopervise the repairman? Thanks for always being a hopper.

Pop sometimes doesn't slam the door too. Our thermostat keeps things really cold too but our soda hasn't froze in awhile. TW says the seal around the door could stand to be replaced.
ReplyDeleteI hope your food didn't get freezer burn! It wouldn't taste so good if it did. That's a good idea to keep an eye on the refrig door, 'cause you never know when it might decide to pop open! Cute selfie! Winky winks! -Valentine (& Mom) of Noir Kitty Mews
ReplyDeleteWe purr the fridge thing was a fluke and you will not need the repair guy back.
