Meows from Mudpie, and happy National Banana Day!
Since I'm a cat and therefore not a fan of the popular fruit, I wanted to use today to introduce you to my new friend, Bananya, and the back story of how she joined our little family.
Have you heard of Bananya? It's a Japanese anime television series that follows a white cat who lives inside a banana. Mommy tried to resist the temptation of adding yet another stuffie to our collection until she received an email from Barnes & Noble introducing Calico Bananya, and she had to have it. (Since plush torties are impossible to find, calicoes are the next best thing!)
So she went to the bookstore one Saturday afternoon, had to ask where to find Bananya, only to find another lady walking off with the very last calico!!! She
Now the cute little calico is part of my snuggle pile on the bed :)

Mom got the Barnes & Noble card for free shipping because it is often hard to find stuff at our local store.

Never heard of them. It the plushie banana scented? Pop loves bananas. Well, actually he doesn't but his potassium is always low so he eats two every day.

The Mom loves plush kitties, too. She really wants a plush Grumpy Cat!
They have so many cute cat things at B&N! I've resisted buying anything toy-like, but not sure how long I can hold out!
