I'm afraid to say Mommy hasn't really been in the Halloween spirit this year. She decorated and has taken part in all her usual traditions, but she just hasn't been as excited about it as she usually is. She didn't even think to change our blog header until last night!
So we weren't really sure what to do for our Halloween post until our friend Valentine at Noir Kitty Mews announced his Spooky Nanner Contest asking for spooky photos of kitties and bananas (toy or real) because he goes bananas for Halloween!
I play a lot with my nip nanner but we have no photographic evidence of this, but we did have a photo of me posing with Mommy's stuffed Bananya anime character which we used to create a spooky little graveyard scene. Anyone care to join us?
Happy Halloween everyone, and hopefully Mommy will get with the program when it comes to Christmas!!!
We love that photo of you and Mommy's Banyana, Mudpie. We're not sure about that cemetery, though ... scary!
ReplyDeleteHappy Meowloween!
I hope your human gets into the holiday spirit soon! To be honest, my human isn't feeling it this year either.
ReplyDeleteThat is a mighty cool picture Mudpie!!
ReplyDeleteHope you get out of that graveyard safely!
Halloween is usually pretty quiet here as we do not have a lot of homes near us.
Happy Halloween!

Oh Mudpie! Stay safe! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteCute, Mudpie! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteHappy Meowloween, Mudpie! Our tortie Sienna is a little spooked among all these black cats!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I decorated for Halloween and have done all of the usual traditions, but it wasn't until these past few days that I've really been feeling it. I know I'll really be feeling it tonight, though, when I put on my cat ears, hand out candy, see all the kiddos running around in costumes, and then snuggle up on the couch with the furbabies to watch our usual Halloween night movies.
ReplyDeleteWith that being said, Mudpie, your spooky art has us going bananas over Halloween right now! I sure hope you and your nanner friend make it out of there okay, though. What's more, I hope you get lots of treats (and no tricks!) on this Halloween!
Very scary graveyard scene! Happy Halloween Mudpie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a very nice and spooky graphic, Mudpie! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteYour mom is ahead of our mom! She didn't even decorate our header and we only had a Halloween graphic thanks to Ann!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween! We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable night and gets lots of treats and no tricks!
Sweet Mudpie and her lil' Bananya!
ReplyDeleteTell Miss Melissa, my mom understands how you feel. Mom usually has the living room and porch decorated for All Hallows Eve, but with her being gone a lot during the month of September and working on several projects, she just ran out of time and energy to decorate. There's only a few things sitting out on a table and a witch wreath sent from Grandma, but no light strings out for tricks-or-treaters! She's even debating whether she'll carve a pumpkin this year (she's been carving one every year since furr-ever)! I just can't believe it. Well, Mudpie, you and I aren't gonna go with out celebrating the holiday, are we?! Kisses.
The purr-evious comment was from me, Valentine (& Mom Kerry) of Noir Kitty Mews
ReplyDeleteEvery cat gets scared daily...how come there's no food in my bowl!

ReplyDeleteHappy Howl-o-ween! Whoa! I thought Howl-o-ween was your mom's favorite holiday next to Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween guys!

That is a great Halloween photo. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteHalloween is not a big thing here. In New Zealand the only people who do it are ones that buy into the collecting sweets thing through shops. When we visited the USA we saw a lot of people going all out for Halloween and putting up fabulous decorations so it is a real fun festival atmosphere. I like candy corn though.
ReplyDeleteMudpie! Frodo is very worried you are in some spooky situation! Yell if you want him to come rescue you!!
ReplyDeleteThose crows would make me nervous.
ReplyDeleteThis was my second time attending an event at this place, and was my first business event here (the other event was a charity show). Everything at the event locations was perfect, the drinks and food was amazing. Even the coffee was wonderful.
