I was snatched from my mum when I was only two weeks old, and what happened next was bigger than any kitten could imagine.

"A gently witty and charming story which draws the reader in from the word 'go' to a truly entrancing feline perspective on human well-intentioned but frequently misguided behaviour when taking on a new pet."

- Mary Ashton, retired veterinary surgeon

"A heart-warming story that really has unique perspective on the ever-important animal-human bond (and how our pets really feel about us)."

- Sommer Pari, licensed veterinary technician

Tammy the Little Cat with a Big Attitude is the story of a cat and her girl, from the day they met when the author was only 16, through the years they shared together as she left home and married. Written alternately from both human and cat point of view, their experiences are at times humorous, yet always heartwarming. Tammy is a cat who knows her own mind, and from her love of music to her fondness for participating in a rousing game of Scrabble, she leaves her mark on every life she touches. I especially loved how Tammy didn't appreciate visitors to "her" house and what she would do to them should they dare visit the bathroom, and just wait until you see how she manages to nearly scare the poor window cleaner to death!

As is typical for cat stories, the end will bring a lump to your throat, but Tammy's purrsonality makes her a cat you won't soon forget!

I could've written that book about Bear the little cat with a big attitude. For 12 years, he's kept me smiling, laughing, and even admiring his panache despite myself.
