For Sarah #PetPhotoFails

As members of the cat blogosphere we sadly say goodbye to feline friends on a regular basis, but earlier this month we suffered the shocking loss of the human behind one of our favorite blogs.

Many of you know how much I adored the Miss Cuddlywumps cozy mystery series and blog written by Roby Sweet (pen name for Sarah Andrews). Through reviewing her books and reading her blog Sarah became a good friend over the past couple years. It meant the world to me that she once said our blog inspired her to start writing her own.

Sarah passed away on November 5th at only 49 years old. In her memory we plan to keep alive the Pet Photo Fails blog hop she started on the last Friday of each month. We welcome everyone to join us.

Sarah never failed to visit and leave a comment on our blog each day because she said a day without Mudpie felt incomplete. Mudpie is quite proud of her photo fail this month and would like to dedicate it to our dear friend. We'll miss you, Sarah.

Melissa and Mudpie ~ to carry on in memory of Sarah (Roby ...) is such a thoughtful and loving thing to do. No doubt she, and all the "cuddlywumps" are sending you many paws up of thanks ... as we are.

We don't think there could ever be a fail with Mudpie. "Fail" and "Mudpie" shouldn't even be in the same sentence!

That's a great fail, Mudpie. We're glad you're gonna continue with the blog hop in memory of Sarah. Though we forgot about it for today and didn't do one.

Very sad to hear of her passing. I didn't know her, but it's clear how loved she was in the cat world. And that's a great fail, Mudpie!

The wonderful books of Sarah's kept mom reading out loud to us. We adored those books and lay quietly for mom to read to us. Sarah is missed.

Thank heavens for Pet Photo fails. A good chance to laugh at mom's boobs and share them with others.
Mudpie looks like she was so active she was a blur going by.

How sad to see someone so young pass away already! And what a wonderful way to keep her memory alive. Mudpie, you look beautiful, even in a blur. It looks like you've got beams of light emanating from your fur.

Melissa and Mudpie, we are so thankful that you are continuing with the Pet Photo Fails blog hog in memory of Sarah. I know that would make her so happy, and she is certainly smiling and laughing from above at all of these bloopers.

P.S. Mudpie, you are downright adorable even in the midst of a blooper!
