Christmas Mewsic Moves Me: Part 1

The theme of the Mewsic Moves Me blog hop for the month of December is Christmas music, something I adore, especially country Christmas music. I still have most of the records I played incessantly as a little girl during the holiday season, and since I bought a new record player earlier this year I can't wait to start playing them again.

Over the next few weeks I plan to share a handful of my all-time favorite Christmas songs, the ones that always bring back special memories.

By the end of my list I'm sure you'll be wondering where Conway is. He'll be getting a Christmas post all his own :)

Stay tuned next week for Part 2!

Do any of our choices catch your ear?

  1. As a kid, we had a Perry Como Christmas album, that we played and played and played.

  3. The Boy was playing "Leroy, the redneck reindeer" over and over again last night.Ugh. These are welcome songs to get stuck in my head instead!

  4. When I saw Vince Vance and the Valients, this brought back such memories of my husband in the Air Force. At his first posting, the Airman's club had Vince Vance and the Valients perform several times - we enjoyed them but their music was not the type in this song. Still, was nice thinking of them after all these years! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  8. When TW was growing up, her dad had a Sing Along with Mitch Christmas lp that came with a bunch of lyric sheets. Believe it or not TW still has it.
