Happy Bathtub Pawty Day!

Meows from Mudpie!

A quick check of the National Day Calendar shows that there's a special day to celebrate just about anything! For instance, today is National Bathtub Party Day, and the tub is one of my very favorite places to hang out and play!

We thought you might enjoy seeing some photos Mommy has taken of me over the past few years in the bathtub, starting with an itty bitty baby Mudpie back in August 2015. As the pictures progress you can see how I've grown and flourished :)

    We don't have a full tub here - just a shower and a small Roman tub, which is really only good as a shower. That's a bummer for us kitties, because I hear that tubs are fun!

    We go in the bedroom shower because it never gets used and is dry. But we never go in the main bathroom with the tub where it gets VERY wet sometimes.

    We forgot you were so small! I used to hide in the bathtub, but since I've become braver I don't go in there anymore. Maybe I should start to play in it.

    I think even when you were lil' you were wanting the spa treatment, Mudpie. Mom keeps my chamber pot in the tub in the guest bathroom, 'cause we don't often get company visitin' at the house.     First of all, you are and always have been way too cute, Mudpie! We just can't handle it. Second of all, the kitties around here turn every day into Bathtub Party Day. Kitten Winky is especially enamored with the porcelain party room, and she is often found showing off her breakdancing skills in there. Purrs, and happy partying!

    Now that's a great reason for a pawty, Mudpie! Angels Moosey, Graphite and Zoe all liked the tub. Ava seems to have taken up the mantel now, too. :)

    Very cute photos, you are adorable. Only one kitty likes the tub, KaTwo. Sammy used to pee in it, but fortunately, he outgrew that.

    I like doing scrubbies in TW's tub. We have 2 tubs here.
