Meows from Mudpie!

Wanna know where I snapped my selfie this weekend? This is SO embarrassing...on the toilet!

Wanna know why? Because it's smack dab in front of a furnace vent!


Our brand new gas furnace is up and running and thankfully the installation on Wednesday was easy peasy. Mommy was very impressed by how I handled our home invasion. I even went into the basement a few times to snoopervise the whole process! I don't think they were cat guys though because I didn't get much attention.

The furnace has it's work cut out for it this week too. We're expecting sub zero weather and 18-24 inches of snow today! I'm so thankful to have a warm home in weather like this, because so many animals sadly don't. I wish I could invite them all inside to share my nice new furnace.

    I sure would be hanging out there too if the vent was just there, I dare say Mrs H would be too! We need to light a fire to get really snuggly in my place, and then I will commandeer the rug and hearth all night.
    Hopes you have a snuggly and safe week with all that snow due...

    We are so happy for you guys that Moms got her furnace just in time!!! And we approve of your hanging out by the warmest vent, natch! As long as 1) you don't fall into anywhere and 2) you don't melt! We are busy being iced up here in Connecticut.

    Mudpie, you know, you didn't have to tell us where your selfie was taken...we wouldn't have known! LOL! We received about 5 inches of snow yesterday, but it's frigid now, and the wind is wicked. Stay warm!

    Yay for a new furnace!!!
    WE got a new one in the Spring and now we love the hot air that blows out :)
    WE have a stormy day today. It started as snow and now it;s raining and really windy!When the rain stops, the temps will fall. Mum hopes it does not freeze like it did after the last storm.
    It's great being an indoor cat right?

    Evan sees nothing wrong with your selfie locale, Mudpie. We have a furnace register right by the toilet, too, and he also loves to keep the toilet company when the heat is on. And we also wish we could invite all of the homeless kitties inside to keep warm with us. Purrs and prayers to all the homeless kitties! And warm wishes to you, Mudpie!
