Compromising #PetPhotoFails

Meows from Mudpie!

Thank you for joining us for another edition of the Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop!

Our bloopers this month were taken at the same time as the picture we posted last week of me by the jukebox. Some of you thought maybe I was in trouble and looked like I was being chastised for being somewhere I shouldn't be. I would say it was more my "what are you gonna do about it?" face.

The truth is, I never paid any attention to this bureau until Mommy cleared it off to make room to display more of her Conway collection. Now it's one of my favorite spots to explore which doesn't make her very happy because a lot of her stuff is quite fragile.

We've reached a compromise - for the time being she's letting me hang out there, hoping the novelty will wear off and eventually she'll be able to use it for its intended purpose. She's slowly adding a piece here and there and I'm being a good girl and sharing the space with her junk collectibles. I guess you could say we're compromising about my being in a compromising position...

****************************************************

Have your humans learned to choose their battles with you?

Do you think I've made the right decision in sharing the bureau with Mommy's stuff or should I go ahead and break something?

Will I be able to move in with you if I break something and get kicked out of the house?
Mommy's collection is pretty important to her...

Don't break anything, Mudpie! Just don't allow there to be room for anything but you.

Mostly we get to do what we want - we're pretty good about not breaking stuff. Angelique gets really obsessed about certain spots and will have to sit there for weeks before she moves on to a new one.

No room at the inn for ornaments! OK maybe some but YOU need the best spot.

We have lots of stuff here and there and everywhere. So long as it isnt somewhere like on the beds, then it can stay. But what is it about humans and collectables? Surely us cats are all that should be collected?

I've learned that "NO" is a powerful motivator for Bear. Then again, he's a lot like his Momma! I love those pictures of Mudpie - we can really see her personality coming out.

Mudpie, the kitties here are very unhappy with their mom, because she failed to remember to post any of their bloopers today. Shame on her! At least we have your purrfect bloopers, though. Your adorable face is always priceless, Mudpie! We're thinking your mom could never really become angry with you. That being said, if a certain tortie is ever evicted for offing Conway Twitty, said tortie will be welcome to come pay us a visit!

Very cute bloopers. You are too sweet to break your mommy's things. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! :)

Sassing and sticking your tongue out at your mommy... my goodness! I don’t think you could ever do anything bad enough to get “evicted”, though, Mudpie. :)

Mudpie, Da Boyz would LURV to have you, so push some stuff off!
All of my junk (cat statues) are on shelves where cats don't go or cannot get to. However, I'm sure The Hubby wouldn't mind if a few items were busted...

Don't let her crowd you out, MP! Love these pics. They totally ruin that good girl cat image you had. First you're sassing her and that putting your paw up to her. Hopefully the novelty of displaying her junk will wear off soon. I have hope for you cos TW had all the REM junk displayed in the old house but "grew up" when she moved into a "luxury" condo.

We know your Mommy would NEVER throw you out!!
On the other paw, you might want to try NOT to break anything.

The mom gave up long ago trying to keep us off of counters and dressers and places like that. We think you won this battle, Mudpie.

Mudpie, Mom bought one of those stand alone closets with a cover (to keep us out), well last night I found the way in. To say she wasn't amused was an understatement! So yes I know how you feel!

Mommy knew you were a Tortie when she picked you up...

Mudpie, do you worry that Mr. Conway collectibles might take over the entire house? Maybe you should draw up some boundaries with your claws just in case.

I'll have to join the photo fails next month, 'cause Mom has taken lots of bad photos over the years. Luvs. -Valentine (& Kerry) of Noir kitty Mews
