While Mudpie may be thinking, "What is the big deal about you, anyways?," I choose to believe he's growing on her. The way she gazed at my new clock last week touched my heart.

Touching tribute. I knew that's why you were waiting till today to post. TW gets teary eyed every August 2 cos that's the day, much like CT, her hero Yankee catcher Thurman Munson died when his plane crashed. She still remembers what she was doing when she heard about it on the radio and it still makes her cry. We posted some tributes to fallen musicians on our blog today.

TBT here: Conrad Twitty was not my style of music, but I understand. There were losses in my "classic rock" world, too. Jimi Hendrix, Janice Jolin, Jim Morrison, Jim Croce, Cass Elliot, John Lenin, etc. I also enjoy classical music. I suppose an advantage of that is that they are ALL dead so no sad surprises...
It's so hard when someone we admire passes away. We hope his music brings you comfort. We're sorry we haven't been visiting much lately. We hope Mommy's job slows down soon!
